Established in June 2023 by Colin Lam Chee Siong, this venture was sparked by the inspiration drawn from two distinct groups of people.

He encountered individuals who radiated pure joy and fulfilment by immersing themselves in their passions, creating a beautiful symphony of laughter. Witnessing their genuine happiness warmed his heart.

While on the flip slide, he noticed many friends succumbing to societal demands, abandoning their interests for a monotonous life, and he felt disheartened by the toll it took on their well-being.

This endeavour evolved into a purposeful quest—an outlet for self-discovery for those seeking purpose towards a fulfilling life of shared dreams.

Presently, StartHobby is in the process of developing a dynamic platform that fosters the introduction of novel interests to individuals through a cross-cultural exchange of hobbies and ideas across the world.

Among the features, you can anticipate community hangout postings, fostering connections with like-minded individuals who share your passions. Additionally, look forward to an assortment of hobby-matching activities like personality quizzes targeting to discover your hidden interests.

Our biggest upcoming initiative includes hosting an Annual Hobby Experience Exhibition, where we will be partnering with various organisers and merchants to introduce a wide array of hobby activities that might suit your interests.
